eorge Ferguson Laing is a seasoned project management and development communications professional with over two decades of progressive experience in both public and private sector roles. He has led high impact initiatives across education, social protection, and skills development, including Project Lead for the World Bank funded Ghana Jobs and Skills Apprenticeship Project. George brings expertise in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, and project implementation.
He has held senior leadership positions such as Head of Communications at the Students Loan Trust Fund and General Manager at Global Media Alliance and has served on key national boards including the Council for TVET and the Skills Development Fund Steering Committee. His academic background includes master’s degrees in communications and leadership & governance from the University of Westminster and the University of Ghana.
George is known for his visionary leadership, collaborative approach, and proven ability to deliver results within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
